HOT SPICED BUTTERED RUM
INGREDIENTS
Hot Spiced Buttered Rum (1 serve):
- 30ml rum ( I used Dark Matter Spiced Rum)
- 1 large tbsp of spiced batter mix
- Boiling water
Spiced Batter:
- 120g butter (room temp)
- 1/2 a cup of brown sugar
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 1tsp ground nutmeg
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
For your spiced batter, you will need to combine your butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and spices.
For your drink, add your rum, spiced batter, hot water into a mug/heatproof glass, stir till everything has dissolved and enjoy.
I chose to use Dark Matter Spiced Rum for my rum option as I really enjoy the warmth of the fresh ginger, clove, and allspice this delivers — perfect for any winter drink.
