This captivating bottle of rhum I have before me hails from #Haiti. Produced using only a locally sourced organic native cane, matured without any #chemicals/#pesticides/#fertilisers, #fermented with natural #yeasts and distilled using traditional distillation methods in small pot stills which are a heritage of the french colonisation.

This Rhum is a blend of the four communes of Cavaillon, Barraderes, Pignon and St Michel de l’Attalaye — the Fantastic Four!

And whatta’ Rhum we have on our hands! Before I start, I just need to clarify that with every taste, you are guaranteed to experience something different… but I have done my best to summarise as best as I can. On the nose, you’ve got fresh sugar cane, fruit, and a whole damn meadow. On the tongue, warm vanilla, dark chocolate, spice, and crushed herbs.

I can’t recommend this enough. Not only are you sipping history, but you are also experiencing true agricultural purity at its finest.
